A birthday present

My friend Ashley's birthday was on the 22nd. Seeing as I'm rather poor, I was trying to think of something fun and creative to make her. Somehow I put together this interesting piece. It's a wooden trinket box, painted with acrylics and decorated with all kinds of random bits I've been collecting and have made in the past, but until now, didn't have a purpose. I'm really excited for how it came out! I almost don't want to give it up. I still have the inside to fix up. I was thinking a fuzzy fur, but we'll see how that goes. Oh, and the glossy top coat to finish.
I was also thinking, depending on the reaction I get from others when I show it off, maybe I'll start selling a few! They were a lot of fun to make and I have tons of tiny doo-dads just lying around. Everyone needs a teeny trinket box!

Jam! That is gorgeous! You can definitely sell them! I love the fuzzy fur idea for inside. You can even use something funky like red velvet or zebra.
